Tell it however it comes out

There is no length limit and nothing is judged on polish. Write three paragraphs or thirty pages. Record it out loud if the words come easier that way. Send photographs if they matter to the story.

Your name is yours to give or keep

If your story is selected, you decide how you appear: your full name, your first name, a pen name, or nothing at all. You make that choice at the end, not now, and you can change your mind.

A missing name is not always enough on its own. Places, dates, employers and other people can identify you just as well. If staying unrecognisable matters, say so, and those details get changed before anything is printed.

Read this part properly. It is the whole arrangement, and none of it is buried in the terms.

What you are and are not getting

Your $29 pays for your story to be considered for a book. That is the entire product.
I cannot predict how many stories I will include.
If your story is selected, I will definitely contact you. If it is not, I might reply and I might not — a response is not guaranteed, so please do not submit expecting one.
There is no deadline and no timeline. I may reach out in a month, in two years, or never.
Contributors are not paid and do not receive copies of the book.
The $29 is non-refundable under all circumstances.
You keep full ownership of your story and can publish or sell it anywhere else, at any time.
You must be 18 or older.
